Events

In addition to our monthly meetings near Washington Village, we offer a range of opportunities to get involved. From craft classes to supper club, parties to trips away, there's a lot to choose from for all tastes. Get involved as much as you like!

Coming up next:

28 August: Craft Night: We're making origami to take home

17 September: Monthly Meeting with speaker Rob Scragg, North East crime author

3 October: Supper Club at Novello's

Lots of events are planned leading up to Christmas, teaming up with the Federation and other WIs

Our popular craft nights are held at Peacehaven Court, where residents are welcome to join us. Latest creations include paper flowers, framed pictures from napkins (they looked amazing!) and Christmas decorations. Hosted by Margaret, we always leave feeling accomplished!

Our Supper Club meets at one of our local restaurants in Washington every two months. We welcome recommendations from our members, and if you're a restaurant that offers great food and service, we're interested! Our first Supper Club event was in June, and our next one is planned for 3 October.

See our amazing and packed agenda for 2024/25 thanks to Joan and the committee.

We listen to our members to find out what they want to hear about, see and do and we shape our events around them.

From monthly meetings and trips away, to our craft night and supper club, join in as much or as little as you like.
